Kevin Sharpe- Drums


Multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Kevin Sharpe began his musical career at the age of seven singing gospel in his church choir.  By age eleven he was playing drums for that same choir eventually becoming one of the primary drummers for the Church of God in Christ in the region. Later in college he studied classical percussion, voice, arranging and choral conducting. He’s done recordings with John Blake, Archie Shepp and others. Mr. Sharpe has toured domestically and internationally with various artists. He himself is an artist with a wide musical palette performing Gospel, Jazz, Orchestral, Rock, Soul and work with singer/songwriters. A native of Massachusetts, he teaches privately at SwingHigh Productions and is an adjunct professor at Springfield Technical Community College. He has appeared in both "Modern Drummer" and "DRUM!" magazines. He uses Noble & Cooley drums, and Vic Firth sticks.
